1010 Content, LLC (hereinafter “1010”), which owns and publishes Sex Tech Magazine (hereinafter “STM”), has created this consumer privacy policy statement to demonstrate its commitment to your privacy. The following discloses 1010’s practices regarding information collection and use solely for the web site located at www.sextechmag.com (hereinafter the “Web Site”). By using or accessing or using the Web Site, You signify your agreement to be bound by our Privacy Policy. If You do not agree to this privacy policy, You may not access or otherwise use the Web Site. 

      What kinds of information does 1010 collect?

      When You subscribe, 1010 collects your first and last name, your e-mail address, your phone number and your institutional affiliation, if applicable (the name of the company or firm where you work) (hereinafter “Personal Information”).

      In addition, 1010 may also collect non-personally identifiable information, such as IP host address, web pages viewed, browser type, and other such data (hereinafter “Non-Personal Information”), and may aggregate that information collected in a way that does not identify any individual.

      What does 1010 do with the aforementioned information?

      1010 uses your name and e-mail address to send You STM as well as occasional communications on behalf of STM partners. 1010 may also use your phone number to contact You so that 1010 can learn more about readers in the interest of improving the quality, utility, and relevance of STM. 1010 also may use your e-mail address to create reports that will show 1010 who is reading what parts of STM and who is clicking on which links that are embedded within it.

      1010 may report the name of the company or firm where You work to investors or advertisers who want to know who is reading STM. If You wish to opt out of 1010 using that information in this way, please send your opt-out request to: info@sextechmag.com.

      1010 will not share or sell your Personal Information to any third party that is not affiliated with STM without your consent, except in connection with the sale of STM or sale or merger of 1010.

      1010 does, however, reserve the right to access or disclose Personal Information and Non-Personal Information it gathers as required by law or to the extent necessary for 1010 to investigate suspected fraud, harassment, or other violations of any law, rule, regulation, or 1010’s rules or policies as to STM.

      1010 may share Non-Personal Information, individually or aggregated, with any number of third parties, as long as the information it shares does not identify any individuals.

      What if I am using the Web Site from outside the United States?

      The Web Site is maintained in the United States of America. By using the Web Site from outside of the United States, You authorize the export of your Personal Information to the United States, as well as the storage and use of your Personal Information, as specified herein. 

      What are cookies and does 1010 use them?

      What measures does 1010 take to keep my information secure?

      The security of your Personal Information is very important to 1010. 1010 tries to provide for the secure transmission of your information from your computer to its servers by utilizing encryption software. However, due to the inherent open nature of the Internet, 1010 cannot guarantee that communications between You and 1010 or information stored on the Web Site or 1010’s servers will be free from unauthorized access by third parties such as hackers, and your use of the Web Site demonstrates your assumption of this risk. 1010 has put in place reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard the information it collects.       As a convenience to You, 1010 may provide links to third-party web sites from within the Web Site.  1010 is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any third-party sites. 1010 specifically disclaims any liability for information on any third-party web site.  

      How do I opt out of receiving STM or any communications from 1010?

      Send any unsubscribe or opt-out request to 1010 at: info@sextechmag.com and 1010 will process your request within ten (10) days. 1010 is not responsible, however, for removing your Personal Information from the lists of any third party to whom 1010 has previously provided such Personal Information in accordance with this policy, such as a business partner. 

      How will I know if 1010 changes this privacy policy?

      1010 reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions from this policy at any time. If, however, at any time in the future 1010 plans to use Personal Information in a way that differs from this policy, 1010 will post such changes here and give You the opportunity to opt out of the new or different aspects of the privacy policy. Your continued use of the Web Site following the posting of any changes to this policy means You accept such changes.
